We are now recruiting a Manager, Training Development to join the Human Resources - Training team at our corporate offices in Santa Clarita, CA (just north of Los Angeles).
The Training Development Manager will design training solutions for all areas of the company targeted at improving performance, quality, productivity and overall engagement of a Global workforce. The manager will lead a team of content developers and web/e-learning designers to develop customized programs leveraging multi modalities including instructor led, webinars and cutting edge e-learning.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with internal and external resources including internal designers, developers, editors, and graphics designers to ensure quality deliverables that measure and evaluate behavioral and business impact.
Coaches and trains direct reports to foster continuous development and increase contribution.
Develops leadership programs, promotion tracks and development programs for all levels of the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Journalism or related area. Master’s degree preferred.
5-7 years of experience in managing a training development team.
Strong customer service commitment.
Excellent communication, writing, project management and consultation skills.
Experience developing and implementing supervisory and management training and development programs.

This position is in a department that has adopted a 9/80 alternative workweek schedule. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to work a schedule that provides you with one day off every two weeks. During each two-week pay period, employees in this department typically work four nine-hour days plus one weekday off, and four nine-hour days and one eight-hour day.
